The Brown Family have supported the Church of St. Mary, Buttsbury as worshippers and benefactors for many years and in recent years the Fryerning Foundation has made a number of donations towards restoring and maintaining the church.
Recently Keith Brown wrote a history of the church and parish entitled The Mysteries of Buttsbury.
Copies of this book can be obtained from Keith Brown, Fryerning House, Fryerning, Ingatestone, Essex, CM4 0PF at a price of £5.00. All proceeds go towards the Church Fund.
